About
The Neighborhood Crime Map is dedicated to providing tips to the public about issues in crime prevention, online safety, and neighborhood watch. In addition, we are working for more communication and cooperation between citizens and local law enforcement. One of the best tools for facilitating that communication is through CrimeReports.com, the largest and most-comprehensive crime mapping service in the world.
Crime mapping, through CrimeReports.com, allows police to publish their crime information to the web in an easy-to-use google map. As citizens, using the crime mapping provided by your local police department, will allow you to be more informed about crime in your community and neighborhood. That knowledge can empower you as an active member of your community or neighborhood watch group.
The public crime mapping that CrimeReports.com facilitates has also been found to foster more trust and mutual dependence between community members and law enforcement. It gives citizens the information they need to be safe, and it gives the police an informed and more vigilant public.
Anyone can search crime in their neighborhood at CrimeReports.com.
Law enforcement agencies can get on the crime map at CrimeReport.com by clicking the “learn more” button on the right-hand side of the page.
