simply forward my house phone to my cellphone if I'm expecting a collect call. There is also a company, globaltellink, that lets you add money to your cellphone, but I think they're expensive. I do this for my son (in jail right now, not prison) by calling 1-800-483-8314. You have to have a credit card (or bank debit card), and it charges either $25 or $50, of which, $5 is "processing fee." I don't know how many calls they get for their $20 -- maybe three. That would probably depend on the cost of the call.
